Klaus BetzDialogue Projects

Klaus Betz has been working as a free lance journalist for more than 35 years. For the Institute for Tourism and Development he has for more than 20 years coordinated public events and press trips. He is also a member of the TO DO jury. The focus of his work is on social, environmental, tourism, and development issues which make him travel across the globe. For many years, he reported on the conflicts in the Near East and Northern Ireland, with publications, among others, in Frankfurter Rundschau, Die Zeit, Der Tagesspiegel. His radio reports are broadcast on NDRInfo, BR 2, DLF, and WDR 5. What he finds fascinating about the projects awarded with the TO DO Award by the Institute for Tourism and Development is the fact that they stand for social, cultural, and economic participation and the right to independent development.
